Context

The TRANS-EU web-storylines have a normative stance: they aim to support urban policies and practices through sharing understanding of available knowledge on urban challenges, visions and practices. To do so, we have crafted stories illustrating some of the main findings of the EU funded TRANS-URBAN-EU-CHINA Project – Transition towards urban sustainability through socially integrative cities in the EU and in China.

As sustainable transitions require cities to include long-term goals in their short-term actions, the web storylines are directed to facilitate the exchange and scaling-up of practices that can create pathways towards the set long-term goals.
